Education for 21st Century Careers
During their academic years at Davis College, students have numerous opportunities to participate in challenging programs that push them to apply concepts learned in class to real-world scenarios at partner organizations ranging from multinational corporations to innovative grassroots organizations.
Students utilize the rich resources in their city, attending work sessions, collaborating with civic organizations, and engaging with prominent cultural figures. This programming is designed to deepen understanding of academic material and reinforce practical skills, while cultivating vital character traits like empathy, resilience, and accountability.
Students are required to complete a three-month internship before their graduation. The Davis career team helps students evaluate their skills and interests so they can set meaningful career goals, and assists them in identifying opportunities within our vast partner network.
Our graduates gain the skills necessary for professional success in the 21st century, leading critical conversations and push forward ideas that promote women’s empowerment, climate action, clean energy solutions, smart city innovation, and more. They drive change in their families, communities, and countries.
